The Durutti Column
Venus 29° Cancer · waterapproximate: only the year, or a stand-in date, is known
▶ play “Sketch for Summer” on Radio Venus
The Durutti Column makes Darkwave and Alternative Rock music, and was born with Venus at 29° Cancer, in the third decan of this water sign. On Radio Venus you hear them through “Sketch for Summer”.
Nostalgic, intimate, protective. These musicians make sound that feels like a memory you can't quite place — home recordings, confessional songwriting, melodies that ache. Their beauty lives in vulnerability and the courage to be tender in public.
